  7. Babe stepped up to the plate. With the count 
  8. at 2ΓÇô2, Babe pointed toward the bleachers in
  9. centerfield -- and hit the next pitch there for a 
  10. home run. Did he do that on purpose? No 
  11. one knows for sure. He might have been 
  12. pointing to the pitcher, he might have been 
  13. showing the crowd that he still had one more 
  14. strike, or he might have been pointing at the 
  15. Cubs bench, filled with players who were 
  16. razzing him. But one things for sure: It makes 
  17. a good story.
